Workflow Summary Display Web Part

This document describes a Web Part that displays the selected properties of workflows in table cells.

This Web Part displays a summary of workflows for a workflow class. The style and the number to display are easily controlled through the edit properties of the Web Part.

Edit Properties of the Web Part

The Web Part may be edited. It has the standard properties of a Jetfire Web Part. There are a number of custom edit properties for this Web Part.

  • Workflow Name – the name of the workflow class that is displayed in this Web Part. All valid workflows for this class are displayed.
  • Date Field Name – The name of the Date property in the workflow class. The Date property is used to sort the workflows in this workflow class. Workflows displayed in this Web Part start at today’s date and count forward the ‘Number to Display’ (see below).
  • Sort Option - the way that workflows are sorted.
  • Filter - a filter composed of 'name=value;' pairs that are used to find workflows.
  • Table Titles - the title on the table.
  • Header Field Names – a comma-delimited list of property names that displayed in the first cell.
  • Body Field Names – a comma-delimited list of property names that are displayed in the second cell.
  • Text CssClass – The Cascade style applied to odd workflows displayed.
  • Alt Text CssClass – The Cascade style applied to even workflows displayed.
  • Heading CssClass - the css class for the header row in the table.
  • Go To Link – a useful link that helps the user find more details about the information displayed. Typically, this link points to a page where the Workflow Cell Display Part is used.
  • Orientation – Vertical or Horizontal. The orientation identifies how the cells are positioned on the page.
  • Number to Display – the number or workflows to display in this Web Part.
